The journey begins from Delhi at 9 PM, setting off for an overnight drive towards Chopta. En route, there will be a refreshing pit stop at Devprayag, where you can witness the mesmerizing confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers, which together form the sacred Ganges.



By noon, you will arrive in Chopta, often referred to as the "Mini Switzerland of India." After checking in, take some time to freshen up and relax amidst the serene surroundings. To adjust to the altitude, you can opt for a short acclimatization walk. The day concludes with a hearty dinner, followed by a restful night’s sleep.
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas before enjoying a wholesome breakfast. The trek to Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva temple in the world, begins shortly after. Upon reaching Tungnath, pay your respects and soak in the spiritual energy of this ancient site. If weather conditions permit, continue the trek to Chandrashila Summit (4,000m), where a spectacular 360° view of the surrounding peaks awaits. By evening, return to your stay in Chopta for dinner and a well-earned rest.

- Best Time to Visit – The trek is accessible year-round. Visit in spring (March–May) for blooming rhododendrons, monsoon (July–September) for lush greenery, autumn (October–November) for clear mountain views, and winter (December–February) for a snow-covered trail.
- Weather Conditions – Temperatures can drop significantly, especially at night. Winter temperatures can go below freezing, so pack accordingly.
- Altitude & Acclimatization – The highest point, Chandrashila Summit (4,000m), may cause mild altitude sickness. Stay hydrated and pace yourself.
- Packing Essentials – Carry sturdy trekking shoes, layered clothing, a rain jacket, gloves, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a good-quality backpack.
